All GCC countries are non-members of the Hague Convention, which means and documents for intended use in Qatar, will be legalized instead of apostilled. This is generally known as attestation.
For acceptance in countries or states outside of the Hague Convention, such as Qatar, the documents will need to pass through the appropriate Embassy or High Commission within the UK.

Educational Documents (3 documents)

The process includes verification and stamping from:

  • Solicitor, UK
  • Department of Foreign & Commonwealth Affairs, UK
  • Qatar Embassy, UK
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar

Documents we will need from you:

  • Original Certificate
  • Original Transcript
  • Original University Letter
  • Copy of Passport

Fees: Please visit our office with the originals to get the fees quote

Processing time: 12-15 UK working days

(Fees include: processing, shipping & government fees)

If you do not have an original transcript document, you will need to contact your university and request that they release this to the Qatar embassy. We advise that you contact your university personally for this procedure. Some universities are very confidential and do not release these documents easily, therefore we are not always successful in retrieving the documents on your behalf.

However, if you would prefer that we handle this process for you, we would be more than happy to try on your behalf. We will simply provide you with a consent form for you to complete and return to us. There will be an additional charge for this, but since this process will differ with each individual university, charges will vary.

  • Copy of Passport/s
