Rafeeq, Huawei sign cloud services agreement at GITEX

Doha: Rafeeq has signed a new strategic cooperation agreement in the digital and cloud services sector with Huawei, at the GITEX exhibition in Dubai last week. With regard to this partnership, many services will be developed, and new innovative services will be provided, as well as expanding existing services.

These efforts are underway to provide all the necessary support in order to supply the demands and requirements that will in turn help support the implementation and development of operations, provide innovative solutions after increasing sales, and achieve the company’s ambitious goals to maintain its position as the most prominent delivery company in the market, and an insurmountable investor in the digital sector.

Abdullah bin Thamer Al Humaidi, CEO of Rafeeq, expressed his delight to sign the cooperation agreement with Huawei, noting that Rafeeq continues to further develop and expand its scope of services.

It is worth noting that Rafeeq seeks to expand its services, and has signed several agreements with local and international companies and institutions that provide technical and global services and solutions to meet the needs of companies of all variations across a host of business sectors. The company has recently expanded by launching 7 more branches of the Rafeeq supermarket concept, as well as introducing digital services that are innovative and original.

The company owns about 45 percent of the product delivery market, as well as about 60 percent to 70 percent of the non-food sector, while in groceries it acquires 25 percent and about 45 percent in the restaurants sector. Rafeeq has also partnered with about 1,200 companies to be represented and promoted on its application. Rafeeq owns an impressive fleet of delivery cars, and has a network of 3,000 drivers.

Rafeeq will also strive to support the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 tournament, and provide new services that will be announced in the upcoming days, and will provide innovative services to visitors and guests during the momentous occasion.
